HO HO! X-mas Hackathon for Nokia Lumia and Asha in Finland, December 18-19th

It’s time to wrap up some apps and get them ready for the holidays!

The HO HO! X-mas Hackathon is a two-day event for Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, and Nokia Asha app creation. There will be consultations with Nokia and Microsoft experts, presentations about Windows 8, Windows Phone  8, and Asha development, and, most importantly, plenty of time to hack. Have an app on another platform? Port it to Windows or Series 40. Or start from scratch and build something great for the season and beyond.

There will be Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 tracks in Turku, Tampere, and Oulu, andt he Tampere event will have an additional track covering the Series 40/Asha Java apps. Series 40 is the most widely used mobile platform in the world. The latest full touch Series 40 phones bring a smartphone experience to the mass market, complementing the range of Series 40 phones that deliver many mobile consumers their first internet experience.

Details of the Microsoft Windows 8 Windows Phone 8 side are on the Microsoft Hackathon site. For details about the Series 40 Asha part, check the Tampere Hermia Hackathon page.
