Your New Year’s resolution: Learn and win more with the Series 40 webinars.
You already know that we’re pumping up our Series 40 webinar offering for 2013, but now we can reveal that we’re also creating new possibilities to learn and win. While we’re continuing with the monthly draw, which is now for two Series 40 phones and associated goodies each month, we’ll also be rewarding contributions to the Nokia Developer wiki and the best Series 40 apps and games created by webinar attendees.
Learn and win returns
The monthly ‘learn and win’ draw is on again until at least the end of April, giving everyone who attends a webinar the opportunity to win one of two Nokia Asha 305 phones, phone accessories, Asha t-shirts, or Asha caps. During each webinar, we’ll pose a question about its content — along with the answer. Then about a week after the webinar you’ll receive a follow up questionnaire containing the question. Return the questionnaire with the correct answer to the question to get one entry in the monthly draw.

Contribute and win
Marketing in a Box (MiB) offers you a great opportunity to create assets that are the cornerstone of an outstanding marketing campaign. On 6 March (at 8 a.m. San Francisco; 10 a.m. Mexico City; 4 p.m. London) and 7 March (at 8 a.m. London; 1:30 p.m. New Delhi; 4 p.m. Singapore), we’re running webinars that will introduce you to the features and possibilities offered by MiB. And we’re looking for you to share your experiences with creating MiB assets and marketing your apps in a wiki article or articles. For up to two insightful articles there will be a pair of phones — a Nokia Asha 311 and Nokia 808 PureView — up for grabs and a number of high-end phone accessories for the runners up. All you have to do is attend one of the webinar’s sessions, then submit a Nokia Developer Wiki article about MiB by 31 March 2013.

Publish and win
We know that you’ll be using the knowledge from the 2012 webinars to create some great apps and games, and our 2013 sessions should help you even more. Now your new or updated full-touch apps and games for Series 40 (Series 40 Developer Platform 2.0) could also see you taking home a pair of phones — a Nokia Asha 311 and a Nokia 808 PureView — one of ten store spotlight packages, one of ten $100 Nokia Ad Exchange (NAX) credits, or possibly all three. Join us for one of the 2013 webinars and then get your apps or games published in Nokia Store between 14 January and 14 May 2013 and you could be in to win. Your app will either need to be brand new — not previously available on Series 40 — or offer additional features that take advantage of Series 40 Developer Platform 2.0 capabilities, such as sensors, location, multiple-point touch, or LWUIT.
You can enter any number of new or updated apps or games. To enter the competition simply attend a 2013 webinar before the end of April then let us know that your app has been published by emailing webinar.experts@nokia.com by 23:59 UTC on 14 May 2013.
