Via Adobe Flash Lite. The Nokia X6 upgrades the firmware to v31.0.004. The new update brings a few improvements with updated maps, and more general improvements in terms of performance and usability.

Nokia N8 upgrades the firmware to v13.016(with changelog)

The Nokia N8 upgrades the firmware to v13.016.

Here is the changelog:

  • Web updated to 7.2.8.10
  • Quickoffice updated to 6.4.166, editing functions now enabled on the N8 (i.e. don't have to pay to upgrade), improved zooming functions
  • Adobe Reader updated to 2.5.653
  • Big update to Nokia Email; performance improved; 'unread emails' flag added to homescreen widget; meeting requests can be accepted directly from email invitations; maps integration, which means people can view the meeting location on the map when the address is mentioned in the location field in the invite
  • General performance improvements
  • Dialler now works in landscape mode
  • Previous performance updates are rolled in and, in the full (Ovi Suite-installed, >100MB) image, there's the facility to provide a better working starting point than hard resetting a PR 1.0 device

Nokia E71 upgrades the firmware to v501.21.001(with changelog)

Via Adobe Flash Lite, The Nokia E71 upgrades the firmware to v501.21.001. The last firmware version for Nokia E71 was v500.21.009. You can update your Nokia E71 firmware over OTA (Over-The-Air) or by using Windows PC applications  Nokia’s Software Updater or Ovi Suite.

The following is the change log for the Nokia E71 501.21.001 firmware update :

  1. Ovi Maps 3.03 Lite with free navigation

Via Adobe Flash Lite, The Nokia X6 upgrades the firmware to v30.0.003. Nokia X6 is a S60 5th and Flash Lite enabled phone. The newest version which brings a new version of Ovi Maps and Ovi Store, improved Browser and improved chat in Ovi Contacts. The last software released for Nokia X6-00 was 21.0.004.

Nokia X2, X3, X6 upgrade the firmware

Today the three Nokia X series devices upgrade the firmware. Nokia X6 firmware updated to version 21.2.005  & Nokia X3 firmware updated to version 08.50 & Nokia X2 firmware updated to v04.80.The three devices are Flash Lite enabled devices.

You can update your Nokia X6/X3/X2 firmware via OTA (Over-The-Air) or via Nokia’s Software Updater application , Nokia Ovi Suite on Windows PC. The Nokia X6 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), but its always a good idea to backup all your personal data before updating the  firmware.
