Java Developer's Library Now Includes Touch UI

Forum Nokia’s Java Developer's Library is a complete resource package for developers who want to develop mobile Java applications or services. A new release, version 3.4, was recently announced, and it describes the Java ME development environment for Nokia S60 5th Edition and Series 40 6th Edition mobile devices.
The Getting Started section of version 3.4 provides new streamlined instructions for creating your first MIDlet. Other new content in the library includes preview information about Java Runtime 2.1 for Symbian, usage guides on MIDlet diagnostics and on-device debugging, and information about tap detection in the S60 5th Edition’s Touch UI. The Java Developer’s Library version 3.4 is available in three formats: online, Eclipse plug-in, and standalone.
