Maemo developers, you asked for an overview of all icons used in the Maemo 5 UI, and now you’ve got it! Forum Nokia recently released the Maemo 5 Icon List, an overview of icons that developers can use either as inspiration for their own icon designs or to simply reuse in their application to ensure a consistent look and feel across the user interfaces of Maemo applications. Icons are offered in more than 20 categories, including Application Manager, File Manager, Media Player, and Widgets.
The list is complemented by the Fremantle Master Layout Guide and the Hildon 2.2 UI Style Guide, which contains visual guidance and references. Also included is the Hildon 2.2 Widget UI Specification, which contains interaction and technical background information. The icon list can be either viewed online or downloaded.
