Nokia and T-Mobile USA recently announced the Nokia 5230 Nuron, a smartphone packed with applications, maps with turn-by-turn directions, and more. Operating on T-Mobile's 3G network, the Nokia Nuron is based on S60 5th Edition and will offers dynamic web browsing and rich experiences on a 3.2-inch touch screen. The device is also Nokia’s first to be pre-loaded with Ovi Maps, the free turn-by-turn navigation solution, and the first to have the Ovi Store pre-loaded, giving consumers access to thousands of compelling applications and games. Other features of the new phone include a 2-megapixel camera, 4 gigabytes of memory card storage (expandable to 16 GB), and Flash Lite 3.0. The Nokia Nuron is expected to be available in the United Sates in the coming weeks exclusively from T-Mobile.

Touch screen of the Nokia 5230 Nuron is responsive enough. It has list and grid menus which are well laid out and you can very easily navigate through the screen with finger.

Nokia 5230 Nuron (T-Mobile)

The 5230 Nuron is a rare bird for Nokia: a subsidized smartphone for T-Mobile subscribers. At $69.99 with a two-year contract, it's much cheaper than buying one of Nokia's unlocked devices.
