New Ovi Webinars for Developers

A new series of Forum Nokia webinars will help developers benefit from Ovi Store, reach U.S. consumers with T-Mobile, and publish to Ovi. All the webinars are free and open to Forum Nokia members.
Forum Nokia Ovi Store and Technology Update (In Spanish): 16 June
Join Forum Nokia and the Buenos Aires account team for an update on the Nokia Ovi Store and the market opportunity for developing for Nokia platforms, as well as an update and demos of the latest developer offerings from Nokia. Also presenting will be local Buenos Aires luminary Maximiliano Firtman of Entupalma; he will provide demos and real-world tips and tricks for Java development on Nokia devices.

Reaching New Consumers with T-Mobile USA & Ovi Store (in English): 24 June
Join T-Mobile USA and Nokia to learn how to capitalize on the recent sales and app download success of the T-Mobile 5230 Nuron and E73 Mode smartphones. Learn to create lightweight web applications and distribute them via Ovi Store, which comes preloaded on both devices. Reach a new set of U.S. smartphone consumers with a combination of Nokia’s Web Runtime and Ovi Store.

Other topics will include compatibility and content requirements for publishing, Ovi App Wizard, and updates on local device markets. The Portuguese session will be presented by Daniel Rocha of Forum Nokia, who will focus on the Brazilian market. The Spanish-language session will be presented by Forum Nokia’s Ruben Rincon, who will focus on the Latin America market.
