Mobile developers can now have their apps evaluated by Forum Nokia user experience (UX) experts and partners, who use mobile usability heuristics and Nokia’s own UX Evaluation Model. For a reasonable fee, developers can receive a written evaluation that clearly identifies and illustrates any UX issues, then provides clear suggestions for how the issues can be resolved. Developers can also receive end-user feedback to their apps thanks to Forum Nokia partner Mob4Hire, which has access to some 45,000 mobile users in 150 countries.
Six mobile developers recently had their apps evaluated by Forum Nokia UX experts and real-world end users; then they used the feedback to improve their apps. Case studies of these six developers have just been published on the Forum Nokia site. The case studies cover the six developers' apps (five of which are now offered on Nokia's Ovi Store):
Earthcomber,
MakeMyTrip,
Mobile Documents,
Shazam,
Speedhero, and
TuneWiki.
