Three New Nokia Devices Bring Social Networking and Messaging to Life

Nokia has announced three mobile devices designed to put better messaging and social networking tools in the hands of more people around the world, at affordable prices. All three devices feature full QWERTY keyboards, and they enable access to a range of e-mail accounts, IM communities, and social networks that include Facebook and Twitter.
The Nokia C3 is the company's first device to bring a full QWERTY keyboard to the Series 40 platform. It is also the first in the range to enable access to social networks directly from the homescreen. The Nokia C3 comes with Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat built in, meaning first-time users can set up e-mail and chat accounts straight from the device, without the need for a PC. Other features include Wi-Fi connectivity, 2 megapixel camera, 2.4-inch color screen, support for up to 16 GB of memory card storage, and a range of appealing color cases: golden white, slate grey, and hot pink. The Nokia C3 will ship in the second quarter, and it will retail for 90 euros.
The Nokia C6 is a S60 5th Edition mobile computer with a 3.2-inch touch screen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard. A full suite of e-mail and social networking capabilities are included, along with a 5 megapixel camera, up to 16 GB of memory card storage, Ovi Maps with free walk and drive navigation, and easy access to Ovi Store. The Nokia C6 will ship in the second quarter, and it will retail for 220 euros.
The Nokia E5 is the latest addition to Nokia’s Eseries range of enterprise devices. Based on the S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 platform, it is designed for those who need productivity in their professional as well as personal lives. Features include direct access to over 90 per cent of the world's corporate e-mail through Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler. Other features include a 2.36-inch color screen, QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel full-focus camera, and up to 32 GB of memory card storage. The Nokia E5 will ship in the third quarter, and it will retail for 180 euros.
