A new series of online tutorials has been launched on the Ovi Daily App blog. The tutorials aim to give consumers insight into the best content available for download onto their Nokia devices. Each quick tutorial highlights a specific app’s features and functionality. They also give consumers a ‘try-before-you-buy’ opportunity to make informed decisions about paid apps prior to download.
Each tutorial includes simple step-by-step instructions that are replicated simultaneously as the specific actions occur on the Nokia device. As a consumer reads through each step of the tutorial, they will see on the device how the specific app responds. In one example, the Zhiing app is used in conjunction with Ovi Maps to help two friends get together for pizza.
The first round of app tutorials include: Nimbuzz, Near Here, Zhiing, and Gravity. Going forward, a new tutorial will be added to the Ovi Daily App blog every Tuesday, creating a repository of practical information that consumers can consult whenever they need it. To create these new tutorials, Forum Nokia worked with Device Anywhere, a company that specializes in remote device testing services to set up the online experience.
