The
Nokia Qt SDK 1.0 Release Candidate, now available for download, leverages the power of the Qt framework and tools to streamline the creation of applications for Symbian and Maemo devices. Also, the SDK includes the Qt Simulator, which enables applications for Symbian and Maemo devices to be tested on a computer. Three versions are available: 32-bit or 64-bit Windows XP (Service Pack 2), Windows Vista, or Windows 7; 32-bit Ubuntu Linux 7.04 or later; and 64-bit Ubuntu Linux 7.04 or later. Developers who create apps with the SDK for the Nokia N900 can now submit these apps to Ovi Store; in the near future, developers will be able to submit apps created for Symbian devices to Ovi Store, too.
