SMS Preview Returns Control to Users

In its first two months of being available in Ovi Store, over 600,000 users discovered the simplicity and convenience of SMS Preview, a user-friendly text-messaging solution by Numo Solutions based in Oslo, Norway and Espoo, Finland.
With SMS Preview, a preview of incoming text messages pops up as the message is received, enabling users to monitor message flow in real time without having to interrupt whatever they are doing to press a button or navigate to their messages folder to check for new messages.
The preview can be set to display for between five and 60 seconds in a pop-up window before vanishing automatically, and can also be dismissed with a double-tap or a click on the exit button before expiring, if the user wishes.
After downloading and installing the application, users are prompted to activate the service with an SMS message.
Consumer reviews for SMS Preview at the Ovi Store indicate that this simple time-saver and attention-manager is highly valued.
Says one user, "SMS Preview is SO helpful when I am listening to music!"
Another user cites the convenience of receiving the message preview without having to stop writing a message they are currently working on. Comments from other users cite a wide variety of examples of the convenience of receiving a hands-off automatic preview when their hands are otherwise full.
Petri Laakonsen of Numo Solutions says reviews received from Ovi Store have greatly helped developers to refine the app to meet customer desires and expectations and provide effective app support.
"Ovi Store and its users have helped us put greater emphasis on listening, as the reviews have a great impact on your downloads ... Ovi Store has really helped us focus on the idea of community and the importance of having open dialogue," says Laakonsen. "We have also launched new web sites, a blog, a Twitter channel, and a customer satisfaction forum," he notes.
SMS Preview is available for free download in Ovi Store.
