InnerActive Optimizes Ad-Funded Apps for Developers

InnerActive is an in-game and in-application optimization platform for text and banner ads on the full range of Nokia devices, from the Series 40 to the latest Nokia Symbian touchscreen devices. InnerActive offers mobile developers greater freedom to release free, ad-funded content, a strategy proven to increase downloads.
The InnerActive Optimization Platform includes a software layer that scans the content type, country and user profile of each ad request and matches it to the highest paying partner network. With that simple mechanism, the company says, it has observed ad payouts of users increasing as much as threefold over a two-month period. The company says it owes the success of this model to a combination of its home-grown ad optimization layer and a strong network of partnerships in Western Europe, the U.K., and South Africa.
More than 50 games and apps already use InnerActive development kits and application interfaces in their programming, with resulting click-thru rates up to five times higher than comparable mobile ad networks, on average -- and up to seven times higher in the U.K. and France, the company reports.
It is expected that approximately 150 new games and apps will be added to InnerActive’s platform in 2010.
"We uploaded nine games using the InnerActive SDK to Ovi Store," reports Mathieu Castelli, CEO and founder of C4M, publisher of a successful game series. "Once it was implemented in our main engine, we started releasing paid and ad-funded version of our apps with no extra effort," Castelli says.
