Connect2Media Keeps Players on the EDGE with Compelling Mobile Puzzle Game

Developed by Connect2Media, EDGE is an award winning puzzle game that keeps players on the edge of their seat.  EDGE first appeared in Ovi Store in the beginning of this year and is available as both a free demo and premium version. EDGE is one of 60 games that Connect2Media offers and along with their other games, they have seen over 2.5 million downloads from more than 190 countries.

Connect2Media, previously known as mForma Europe, is based in Manchester, UK and is an independent digital entertainment publisher of mobile content.  The company has offices in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. Connect2Media has partnerships with Konami, Electronic Arts, Namco, Hands On Mobile, Oasys and Magmic Games, as well as telecom platform providers.  

The EDGE app is a puzzle game that allows players to guide a cube around a maze of moving platforms and shapes, using their finger, phone keys or by tilting their mobile device.  Players experience the challenge of navigating the cube through narrow passageways, falling ledges, and charging blocks.  There’s always the sensation that the edge could slip from beneath you at any moment.  This spine-tingling game instantly hooks you with its fast paced action.  Other exciting game features include: 

  • 43 increasingly tricky levels filled with traps, pitfalls and plunges into oblivion*
  • Motion, tilt and touch controls*
  • Unique visual 3D style, gameplay and soundtrack

EDGE has won a host of awards, including the 2009 International Mobile Gaming Awards, nominated for Excellence in Gameplay and Operator's Choice.  EDGE was also awarded the PocketGamer Gold Award winner, voted as the Milthon Best Mobile Game Award, and nominated for a BAFTA and Independent Mobile Gaming award in 2008.

The EDGE app is available on most Nokia Symbian (5.0 and 3.x) devices.  The free demo version of the EDGE game is available from Ovi Store, with the full version priced at $2.99 (USD).
