Electronic Arts (EA), a leading interactive entertainment software company known for its high-quality console and PC games. One of their biggest franchises, Need for Speed SHIFT HD, has been successfully brought to the palm of your hand by EA Mobile, a division of Electronic Arts, and quickly became one of Ovi Store's more popular downloads. Overall, EA Mobile's collection of popular brands brings the console experience to Nokia device consumers around the world and is clocking in millions of downloads from Ovi Store.
With its great ties to EA's overall franchises, EA Mobile, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, continues to innovate with its products across all major mobile platforms. Some of EA Mobile's most popular games include The Sims 3, Bejeweled, and the FIFA series of games.
Need for Speed SHIFT HD is another popular game that packs the thrills of a console gaming experience into a mobile device. Immersing players in high-quality 3D graphics and offering multiple camera options, Need for Speed SHIFT HD makes players feel like their mobile phone is the steering wheel of a high-performance racing machine. The secret to the experience is in the game's visual details.
One reviewer said, "The stunning visuals are the first thing you'll notice about this latest addition to the prolific racing franchise. And to be quite honest, they're extraordinary enough to carry the whole game, so the exciting, high-speed driving mechanics are pure bonus."
From Lamborghinis to BMWs, EA Mobile's design team paid close attention to recreating mobile versions of 20 famous hot, fast cars. This included spending the time to ensure that even the game car interiors were virtually identical to the real thing. The app also features 18 stunning tracks in exotic locales such as London, Tokyo and Chicago. With camera selection options like cockpit or out-of-car views, players can enjoy these beautifully rendered graphics from a variety of edge-of-your-seat angles.

The game was developed using New Symbian and benefits from Nokia's accelerometer controls. When taking those tight turns on the raceway in Tokyo, or any of the 18 racetracks, Nokia's built-in accelerometer transforms a player's mobile device into a precision steering wheel.

I just hope that Electronic Arts will release those games for the Nokia E7 too. Currently games like The Sims 3 HD and Need for Shift HD are not available for the E7 in Ovi Store :(
