                &lt;p&gt;Thank you for the nice, comprehensive tutorial. :) Small nitpick: while QtDeclarative provides some support for QGraphicsWidgets, most QML features work (focus handling, key navigation, anchors, and so on) better when being based on QML item C++ base class QDeclarativeItem than QGraphicsWidget.&lt;/p&gt;

                &lt;p&gt;A very interesting article and I will have to read it more carefully through after I get home from Dublin, but would just like to point out that many of the inventions that usually get attributed to Xerox PARC were actually invented (and implemented!) already earlier by Douglas Engelbart. Among those are the mouse, hyperlinks, GUI, and windowing.&lt;/p&gt;
