Nokia Developer Champion Chintan Dave is a software engineer with Quickstart Global who takes the cross-platform opportunity of Nokia phones seriously. He recently shared two great case studies with the community. His first Windows Phone application, World's Greatest Speeches, is an inspiring tour through the greatest quotes from the world's great orators. He also created versions of the application for MeeGo and Series 40. He shares his experience in building this cross-platform offering in his wiki article World's Greatest Speeches Application-How To. His second project accomplished the same cross-platform goal, this time using an external API. Celebrity TweetTalk allows users to follow the Tweet streams of celebrities including Barack Obama, Bill Gates, and Justin Bieber. He created versions for Windows Phone and MeeGo and describes the technology behind the app in Nokia TweetTalk for Windows Phone. Chintan continues to turn inspiration into apps, with a total of five offerings in Windows Phone Marketplace as of the beginning of February.

Nokia Developer Champion Overview
Because Nokia wants it's developer community members to know how very much their hard work and involvement is appreciated, we have launched Nokia Developer Champion, a recognition and reward program for top mobile developers from around the world. Nokia Developer Champions are outstanding individuals who are selected on the basis of their outstanding skills and devotion to the Nokia Developer community.
Every six months Nokia evaluates registrants activity in various Nokia Developer-related online and offline channels, awarding Nokia Developer Champion membership to a limited number of top performers. The one-year membership in the Nokia Developer Champion reward program entitles honorees to take advantage of benefits accessible exclusively to Nokia Developer Champions.
