Application developed in S60 3rd edition FP1 runs on Symbian V9.1 device
Hi all,
I just wonder, as the title suggested, whether the application developed in S60 3rd edition FP1 can run on Symbian V9.1 device. Thanks.

The application might work as long as you do not use FP1-specific features. So you can try.
Note that there can be some unexpected issues also, for example 3rd edition noFP-devices cannot load some (all?) .mif-s created with the mifconv utility distributed in the FP1 SDK. There is a thread somewhere about missing icons, you can search for it.

Anyway, if you are making a application that is supposed to work with 3rd ed Pre-Fp1, then yopu should use the 3rd ed Pre-Fp1 SDK, the compability works better that way and you should have less problems running your apps in both 3rd ed Pre-Fp1 devices and Fp1 devices.
