I'd just like to note that I've added 6120 classic and E60 temporarily (for a couple of days) to the service upon request. So if you need to test something on these models, here's a chance.

Same deal as above, but E60 was now replaced with N81.
I'm having problems with the New RDA UI.
I closed the Phone UI like I used to with the old
RDA website thinking I could just relaunch it at any time.
However, I could not do this and my allocation time eventually timed out.
I searched for an hour and couldn't figure out how
to relaunch the UI I was just testing with.
I couldn't even see my reservation icon in the
reservation timeline webpage either - even though I was logged in.
What's going on?
I'm confused by this new UI.
Sometimes I close a Test phone UI, press [Start] in the 'Your reservations' section to restart the UI. But sometimes,
It doesn't appear in the 'Your reservations' section,
sometimes it goes into the 'Available Later' section -
which means I can't access my test session until it times out!
Also. It harder to extend a reservation now.
I keep getting "reervation must have 15 min safety margins"
simply when you try to drag and extend the green reservation block.
Thirdly, when trying to select a device for testing it is easy to
erroneously select another device under the popup list which
means you use up a credit on a device that you didn't want.
This happened to me today.
The new interface is pretty, but it just fails on user friendliness & usability .:(
Another strange thing that happens to me..
If I try to extend my reservation by dragging the green block
it will book the reservation - but _not_ to me!!
The webpage says the device will be available later, and I have to
wait 30min or 1 hour (or however long I attempted to extend my reservation for)
until the time expires.
It doesn't get listed under the 'Available Now' section that should
allow me to Start (continue) my session.
parisn & astonw:
thanks for the feedback. The problem with relaunching devUI sounds strange (I have not crossed into this). If you have active reservation for a device, it will be listed in "phones"-tab under "your reservations". Then as you hold mouse pointer on top of the device icon you should see "start" button which you can use to launch the devUI.
Extending reservations does not work properly at the moment. Due to the 15min "safety margin" you can't instantly continue a previous reservation, but would have to leave a empty slot in the between the reservations. This will hopefully be fixed sometime soon. It's just a glitch in the reservation system logic.
As for possible usability issues, if you have good suggestions on how to fix them, I can pass them forward :) Perhaps removing the "confirm reservation" step was not all for the good.
Thanks for the info BRS,
I've kinda learned how to work around the
idiosyncracies. Now I don't try to extend my reservation
- instead I book for an extra hour than I need and cancel the remaining if I don't need it.
I'm sure the teething period of the new UI will stabilise :)
N93 is now temporarily restored to the service (as requested by a developer).
Hello bloodredsky,
I don't know if this has been reported already but I have one suggestion.
On RDA phone screen, when we click on "Install software" button, the file selection dialog pops up. Currently it has .Sis, .Sisx, .jar and .cab as default file extensions. There is widget extension missing in the default list. I know that we can select "All files" and then select Widget file but it would be more convenient if we have .wgz extension in the default list.
Thanks.

Yeah, this should be easy to fix. I'll pass it forward.

Thanks for your quick response, always. :)
Hello Bloodredsky,
Application panics with USER-EXEC 3 on N96 device on RDA. But it works fine on other FP2 devices( N78, N79 , N85 etc). It seems the issue could be with the firmware of N96. Could you please update the firmware on the N96 available on RDA?
Thanks,
Jinu

Seems like SW 12.043 is officially out. I'll try to do the update either tomorrow or friday.

N96 firmware is now updated.
Thanks bloodredsky. I have query regarding the firware version on the device. N96 gives the firmware version as 12.043.26-11-08.RM-247.(C) Nokia N96(with space in between). But in other FP2 devices gives the firmware version without any space like 10.046.07-10-2008.RM-348.(C)Nokia (for N79). Y is it so? Is it a kinown issue?
Regs,
