Error with makesis.exe and creating the .pkg file

i am working on code warrior 5.5.4.1615 with sdk s60 3rd..the hlloworld example worked well on the emulator but while making the .sis file after setting the default target as GCCE UREL..it shows the following errors:

in the command promt i am facing the following problems:

Hi,

Think the problem is with the path. makesis is not able to locate the path mentioned in your pkg file.

Just copy paste the pkg file or try checking the path.

First things first, there is no file called helloworldbasic.pkg. Probably there would be helloworldbasic_gcc.pkg. First check the directory for the file before you makesis.

Second, you cant [QUOTE][B]cd[/B] helloworldbasic.sis[/QUOTE]. Its a file not a directory.

Thirdly, I would advise you to build and run the application on emulator before you try a release version to try on device.

Last but not the least..and probably the most important thing, read the SDK document for how to build and run the helloworldbasic example. There is a full step by step guidline.

I developing app. for s60 2nd edition.
I want to specify supplier name and app. size in pkg file so that during installation
if we select 'View Details' it shold display supplier name and app. size.
But I don't know how to do this.
If u have any idea could u help me plz?

The closest thing you can try is using FT (FileText) with/without TA (TextAbort).
