SDK Progress: Connect To agent getting error "Failed to initiate session"

Hi Friends,

I have installed Eclipse 3.2.1, S60_3rd_MIDP_SDK_FP1, Carbide.J 1.5 with Java 1.5. When I am running application using "S60_3rd_MIDP_SDK_FP1" in Eclipse from Tools-->Start simulator-->Run-->Emulate; It is failing at the state of "Connect To agent" and showing error -->

"Failed to initiate session
Caught exception
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.symbian.tools.j2me.sei.emulator.session.RemoteSession$SocketTransport
.getInputStream(RemoteSession.java 50)
at com.symbian.tools.j2me.sei.emulator.session.RemoteSession.
connectToSlave(RemoteSession.java 196)"

It is performing some of the steps successfully e.g.
Load user preferences
Parse command
Create JAD file
Resolve Application Name
Create Jar File

Can some one give me suggestion?

Did you ever resolve this problem? I get the same error with the same JSE (1.5) and Nokia SDK, but with Netbeans IDE.

Hi People, i have had the same problem when running the s60 Emulator in Netbeans (Connecting agent error )and i have solved the problem.

In order to solve the problem i downloaded the 3rd Edition(159MB) and added to the java platform under tools bar. This allowed S60 Emulator to work without any error.
