Exception on first attempt to connect in 6070

Hi there,

I am the developer of a m-payment application and we decided to promote the Nokia 6070 to be our default device for the project. But some devices have a bug that I have never seen on other models or brands, like I said, SOME of the devices we've already bought throw an exception in the first attempt to connect to our server with HTTP connection, the next attempts are successful, and after some time of network inactivity the first attempt fails again.

Somebody knows why?!?

Have you tried with other SIM cards from other operators? Which exception are you getting. Can you try with some other network accessing MIDlet to see if they have the same problem too?

Hi Hartti,

well recently my operator (TIM) made some repairs in the antennas around my city, I am also investigating this. But I've tried in other cellphones like 6020 and Sony E. K300i and everything works fine.
