I was not able to unlock like the other users. I tried it hundred times. My Boss droped the project now.
I finally managed to unlock my phone.
Make sure you create a new apn in Settings/Configuration/Personal confg. settings/Add new/Access point
I assumed before it should work with my Web settings but once I created this new apn, it worked fine!!!
I had the same problem:
certificate said yes, gprs was there but still got the error message no connection to card
what solved it?
i had the nfc module turned off, and for this the phone also couldn't see it's own secure element. Had to turn NFC on and unlocking worked - stupid, but this was the way it happened
Does it work with the 6212 NFC Classic?
If no, How can I unlock the internal SE of 6212 NFC?
thanks
Roberto
Hi,
Wap settings, internet settings and access point are well set on my 6212 NFC phone.
But when i used the unlock MIDlet i got the error:
"Unlock process incompleted!" .
The process of unlocking the Secure Element was not completed
SE SERIAL:8cd6a7545329
It happens at the step 6 of the unlock midlet.
Does someone knoows what is this error, and how to solve it?
Thank you
how many times have you attempted this?
i have had many problems while attempting to unlock 6212 devices. however, after attempting several times, the problems cleared up.
It should be stated that this application also works in for the Nokia 6212 Classic. I tried it & it worked.
Though, configuring GPRS (& the corresponding APN) is kind of difficult to figure out for the 6212. :p
Just tried today to unlock Nokia 6212 and got the following error: Incorect SSL server certeficate.
Could it be that Nokia server certificate has expired?
Hello,
I've just bought a Nokia6212 NFC in order to discover NFC world. I've downloaded the NFC unlock midlet and install it in the mobile through OVI. Then when i launch it the message is:
"Unlock process incomplete! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx No card Connection".
About the detail of this midlet, i can see under "Certificate" is "no". Why it is NO as i see in the previous messages that is mandatory, and how to have "YES"???
Any help will be welcome... just started and already stopped :)
Thanks
Laurent
All the same, whatever I try I get this "No card Connection" error message.
Which does not even start to tell me what connection with which card this is all about !
is it a connection bet SE (NXP SMX) and NFC chip that does not work ?
is it the connection bet SIM card and SE ?
Otherwise my internet works fine (can access google)
and I set my access point right too IMO : tryed with multiple french MNO (Bouygues, SFR) and set GPRS params accordingly :
attempted many configs found on the web :

or ...
Does any1 knows better what can be done ?
ok, i finally found my error : the "no card connection" thing.
I used OVI suite to DL the midlet to the phone : NEVER USE THAT OVI SUITE.
Like arip mentionned earlier, use PC SUITE.
OVI does not get you the two files onboard (.JAR and .JAD)
PC SUITE : http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/global/phones/software/Nokia_PC_Suite_eng_web.exe

Thank you very very much !!!!
Yes the pc suite works better. If i use drag&drop installation it doesn't work, but if i use the "application installation" button it works!
Then i can see the midlet has a certificate.
I have retried three times to launch the midlet (with different error messages) and then the phone has been sucessfully unlocked.
Hello Iferon,
The best way to deploy the unlock midlet into the phone is to copy the jad and the jar together into the memory card of the phone (via usb cable, without the ovi or pc suite).
Then run the jad file.

Hello,
The service we used for unlock the secure element is Nokia NFC Unlock Service MIDlet but, it never ends because appear the following messages:
"The process of unlocking the secure element was not completed". "Source HTTP Post Failed".
We think that is the connection to the 3G (or GPRS) and we try this:
Preferred access point: internet.comcel.com.co
"internet" settings from Comcel MMS: Single-shot WEB Comcel 3GSM.
Also we try that with Movistar that is annother 3G Colombia provider.
Could someone please help me with this troubles?
