6610, 6100 doesn't support direct http

I have tested my http midlet on both of them and can download my midlet OTA. The phone always require wap gateway as the middleman to talk to my http server. I tried all 3 operators in Singapore, 2 of them has 2 APNs each:one of wap, another for direct internet. The J2ME http connection only works on wap APN, nor internet APN. I also tried another operator has single APN for both wap and direct internet. The J2ME http connection is routed through wap gateway. I can see my http server received http header contains wap gateway info for all cases.

These mobile models doesnt have TCP/IP protocol stack so The connection is going through WAP using operators gateway.
Instead of that S60 devices as 7650 has also TCP/IP stack
implemented.
