Wite 8250 phonebook by "at+cpbw"?
When I store an entry with AT+CPBW on the phone strange characters are displayed on the phone. (I had Tried using "+CSCS Select TE character set", with the following allowed values: "GSM","PCCP437","PCDN","IRA","8859-1","HEX".)
Anyone knows how to do that?
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
Can you try to send the same AT string from plain terminal window, let say using Hyperterm for example? Is the behaviour still the same?

Hi!
What kind of strange characters? I tested this command by setting the CSCS ISO 8859-1 (usually default), an the I wrote some enties to SIM succesfully.

i met the same question on my 8210
I sent at command to my 8210 via irda.
AT+CPBS and AT+CPBW.
But the "text" field is not readable.
This appears only when the text is chinese.
when it's english ,everything is ok.
i also used at+cpbw to write back the data got by at+cpbs.
but it can't work either.
my email: lihuachen@jlxt.com
the text field's charset is not unicode .
the first two bytes always are "0x20 0x79".
i think this charset can't support chinese.
But Which Charset can work.
