Nokia 5800 xpress music Accelerometer help

I am developing a game for Nokia 5800 x press music using flash lite.Once a person play the game and it is over. The player can shake the phone to start a new game. I want to do it using sensor service API.Any hints on how to do it please?

This is how you should go about this problem.

1. Extract accelerometer values using Platform services (SENSORS API).
2. Pass the values through a HIGH PASS filter to detect shake along a direction ( LOW PASS FILTER to detect tilt).
3. Handle the game specific dynamics.
