N900 Front Camera Spec (Sensor Size or Focal Length)

am doing an AR app and require accurate details on N900 front camera focal distance or the size of the sensor.

I know focal distance is suppose to be 5.2 mm, but this value does not correlate with my experiments which made me think that it is an approximation of the true value. The solution would also be to get the sensor size, as the focal distance can be then calculating using the magnification factor.

The focal length seams to be closer to 5.383 mm, however this is still a guess.

Sorry. My Calculation was wrong. The focal distance 5.2 mm seams to be correct at last :).

I also require the focal length for a pose estimation algorithm. Can I simply hardcode 5.2mm? I read there is a way to get it via V4L. Does anybody know how to do this? Will it give me the real focal length or rather some autofocus value?
