LG internal GPS Timestamp is wrong

Hi all,

I am developing a J2ME GPS tracking software. I am testing it on LG Touch Screen and i get the wrong timestamp. it's 10 years and 5 days different than the current date. I have done some search and see some people say there's some bug in LG GPS timestamp.:confused:

Can anyone give me some advice on the work around for this? Advice and suggestion are much appreciated

Have you, perhaps, tried to ask LG? This is a Nokia developer forum. I presume if you had, say a Toyota car, you would not ask for assistance with your Toyota on a Ford forum, right?

Yes, I have tried with some LG forum. But they are not active enough in compared with this forum. And one more thing, I am using J2ME so it should be about platform neutral. Or maybe i am landing on the wrong place. Thanks

J2ME in principle is platform netural, but your issue doesn't seem to be a generic Java issue, but with a specific implementation on a specific device (i.e., a manufacturer problem rather than a J2ME problem).
