I have installed S60 2nd Edition FP2 SDK on windows 7. When I tried to include it in Net Beans 6.8 it gives "invalid platform name" error at the last step.

from where did you downloaded the plateform ?? is it "S60 2nd Edition FP2 SDK for MIDP" ?? how did you try to install???

Yes. I downloaded the SDK, extracted it, double clicked it and then when the installation completed I went to Java Platforms in Net Beans-> Add Platform-> JAVA ME Midp platform-> Find More JAVA ME platforms-> In this I selected the s60_2nd_FP2_MIDP_SDK. But when I proceeded the error occured "invalid platform name".

Why don't you try to give some custom platform name?
Try this and let us know the results.
