Finding you Vender Name in your Ovi Publish Account

Hi

I am to publishing on OVI store.

Recently one my apps failed in QA - one of the reason given was:

[B][I]The Vendor Name listed in your package file(s) is "Vendor" and your global Vendor Name is "Vendor".[/I][/B]

My question is where can I find Vender name in my Ovi Publish Account

Go to [URL="https://publish.ovi.com"]publish.ovi.com[/URL] and log in. Select Accounts and then Publisher. The Name field should be the vendor. Or at least this is what I use.

As for how to add it in your app (in case it's a Qt app), [URL="http://blogs.forum.nokia.com/blog/ovi-publisher-alert/2010/11/09/vendor-name-for-symbian-install-files"]have a look here[/URL].

you could find it from your certificate. Just open teh certificate in windows to view on to whom it is assigned to, and use that as a vendor name.

With Ovi free signing, I'm supposing the vendor name is actually then the account name for the Ovi, though you could try verifying that from publicer support email.

Really? What I see is "Issued to: OVI Publisher (and the date)". Then again, I do use Nokia's free Symbian Signing.
