suggestion about a new application on all the cell phone
dear nokia big boss.
i have a littile idea to devlope a new "application" on all cell phone
1st i am muslim so i have to go to the mosquee 5 time a day like
1.5 billion muslims in our world
2nd the mosquee should be a place of an absulote queet
3rd a most time when we are praing we heard ring of at lest 3 cell phones
my idea is to put to the cell phones an application to cut all the signal of communication
when the praier is at the first door of the mosquee and be reactivated whem he leave it
1.5billion muslim=1.5billion cell phones.
thanks

Look around in the Ovi Store, there are good chances for that such applications already exists. Though detecting a mosque is not really possible, but the phones are pretty aware of the time.

Well, if you know where the place is, then a GPS (which many phones have) can tell you whether you are in that place or not.

The application might be installed in your device, but not in 'those three other devices', so third party application may not help much in such a situation..given that Forum Nokia Discussion board is mostly about such third party application developers.
Some kind of jammer mechanism installed at the location might be what you are looking for.
Well, if you know where the place is, then a GPS (which many phones have) can tell you whether you are in that place or not.
GPS? I have heard about it too. In my opinion there would be both false positives and false negatives, while the prayer times are more precise.
I am absolutely sure about that there were related discussions, how to do the profile-switch, download prayer times from the net, etc. Though I do not know if the application(s) is ready or not.
