Few questions about publishing Qt/Symbian app to OVI store

Hi,

We have developed Qt/Symbian app, aiming for 10M contest. Application uses only user (basic) capabilities.
I have few questions related to OVI store publishing. I know "old" Symbian signed process, but publishing to OVI store is a new thing for me.

I have red this document [url]https://www.forum.nokia.com/Distribute/Packaging_and_signing.xhtml[/url] but few things are unclear for me.
1. Publisher ID, Is it mandatory to have PublisherID from TC? Is it enough that our company registers as publisher to Ovi Store
2. Application UIDs. Do we get application UIDs from Ovi Publisher Support (publishtoovi.support@nokia.com)? Do we need to allocate own protected UIDs from symbiansigned.com?

Hi Veikko,

1 and 2: Publisher ID is not mandatory, sign as Ovi publisher and request Nokia assigned UID's from the Ovi Publisher Support (publishtoovi.support@nokia.com). No need for protected UIDs from symbiansigned.com.
