Unable to register as a Publisher
Hi,
I've been trying to register as a Nokia Store Publisher but unable to complete the registration process. This is what happened:
1. In step 5 (Payment page), check the checkbox to indicate agreement to the Payment Terms
2. Click on the "Proceed to Payment" button and a message "You're now being redirected to our payment service"
3. Get a blank screen with the following URL on the address bar -- [url]https://publish.ovi.com/register/approve_payment_terms[/url]
I've tried on the following browsers:
- Safari 5.7 running on Mac OS X 10.7
- Opera 11.50 running on Mac OS X 10.7
- Internet Explorer 8 running on Windows 7
I'd be glad if someone could help me. Thanks !

Hi joewandy, Welcome to Nokia Developer Discussion Boards!! :)
I have just now tried using IE 8 in Windows 7 and it works fine, reached payment page, Selected American Express as card and it worked fine. Which country are you trying from ?
May be you can try some time later or try your luck in Google Chrome ?

[COLOR="navy"]For your future reference, the Ovi Publish tool works best in Mozilla Firefox and you should be able to complete the registration process smoothly. If you are unable to proceed past the payment page, this may be credit-card issue. In such cases, please send an email to Nokia Publish Support who can assist you further.

The Nokia Publish team will collect this data and escalate this accordingly.

I've registered as a publisher recently but I have a question.
I had to create a user and set a diffrent password than the one I use for my account here with Launchpad. Do I have to associate both accounts somehow or does Nokia knows that joaocardoso here is the same joaocardoso that is register as a publisher at OVI? I used the same email address BTW.

You don't have to link the accounts; in fact the Nokia Publish tool has no connection to Nokia Developer accounts. However it is a good practice to have the same email address or company information for both account so the Nokia Publish Support team can easily locate either upon request. [/COLOR]
