I just updated to the nokia Symbian Belle OS version on my Nokia E7 and all the Shared Objects are gone even though I backup my apps data and restore it.
Now this is very bad as apps lost all data for login and scores for games.
Just wanted to mention that it might be a general problem since all my other login for other apps are gove including Nokia Account, email and apps data.

Symbian does not have programming mechanism to backup generic application data in contrast to Android for example -- thus it looks like it is working by design --- nothing to do
There is only one thing -- maybe they should warn in the upgrade instruction about what cannot be automatically saved.

I know that, but it's not working the same for everyone. Talking to some people seems that they got most data back. Others had similar issues.
So it looks like there are software bugs that prevent certain data to be recovered. When I upgrade from Anna, everything was fine.

Just a guess : Might be it has to do something with the memory where app is installed. If the app is installed in Phone Memory then it may get refreshed after upgrading, otherwise not. :)

that's what I thought too, but with Anna update did not have any issue. Anyway, will just need to re-enter the data.

I go with flash under WRT, is safer, plus the accelerometer data is bugless...
