Hi!
We have been Express signing our application more than 10 times (last time was November 2011). Today I tried to sign an update and noticed that Express option was disabled because of the CommDD capability. We have used this one all the time - for sending USSD messages.
Has there been some change in signing policies lately?
AFAIK CommDD has never been part of express signing. Only change in capabilities since their introduction has been the Location Capability to be added into self-signing category.
We have been using also:
DiskAdmin
NetworkControl
MultimediaDD
Checked out ther logs - I have express signed them since July 2011 in 10 occasions.
That should have never been possible, so I would ask you to contact Nokia testing, and they can see whether there has been any bugs in the system.
All and all, you must use Certified signing for any sis that is using any of the capabilities requiring certified signing, so I suppose you do know how to proceed.
Yep, I know how to it (and don't like it - waste of time and money).
