Problem with USB debugging on Asha 311 Nokia SDK 2.0
Hello All,
I tried to follow the instructions at the youtube video below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YmiDXf9AxE&feature=player_embedded
However, I'm using eclipse. I was able to successfully build a jar and jad file.
When I try to run the app on my phone, I receive an IllegalAccessException.
May I know, how I can resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hi
Please check TantalumMidlet project web site. Have you integrated the library to your project ? Also they demonstrate USB connection with NetBeans IDE but you use Eclipse.
I think you don't need to struggle with TantalumMidlet library to make it working in your project until you truly need debugging on device. That may be case if you are developing accelerometer sensor control for a game for example , in all other cases i don't think you need that.
Use Nokia PC suite to deploy your app on device via USB. Although debugging is possible on emulator only.
on device without USB and Bluetooth ports as Nokia 110 , you can use memory card for your application deployment.

Igor

Thanks for your response.
Yes, I can use simulator that comes with Series 40 SDK for most debugging.
Unfortunately, I recently came across an issue that only occurred on the Asha 311 phone, but did not happen on the simulator.
