Nokia maps with antialiazing
The new Nokia maps on Windows Phone 8 is really great, but the edges are a bit rough.. SMAA is a really fast antialiazing that is normally used for pc games. Can something like this be used (without slowing performance) in the Nokia maps?
Nokia developers: I hope you check it out. :)

I'm talking about the streets and lines in the map. http://i.imgur.com/DYHfN.png
It's not a huge problem since the resolution is high, but it would make a nice addition that I think would make the maps looking even better. It's mostly a feature request, but it's not easy to know who to contact. :)

Can you actually see rough edges on 4 inch high DPI screen?

I'm not sure. Still waiting on my 920 to arrive in stock here in Norway.
But WP8 also has 480x800 screens.

And indeed there is anti-aliasing on the screenshot: the big-font labels are smoothed, you can already see it on the gray ones (Slottsparken, Aker Brygge) and it is especially nice on the curved text of Operatunnelen. These look just fine on my 23'' monitor, now imagine what will happen on the 4'' display. The street-lines are most likely not anti-aliased simply because you will not see them jittered on the small screen.
