Hello,
I've been trying to integrate Nokia HERE maps on Android. I have followed the instructions in their Quick Start and User guide. I have tested on Android Emulator and on an Android Phone. It has not worked so far. I keep getting the error - "Map View not initialized".
Can someone post some sample code or a basic working app so I can check where I am going wrong? I have not been able to get any working sample code for Nokia Maps on Android yet.

The list of available native APIs can be found [URL="http://developer.here.net/web/guest/native-apis"]here[/URL]. Android is not currently on the list. According to the description, a native Android API is not available yet, but should be available soon.
I'm not sure which Quick Start and User guide for which API you have downloaded, but
[LIST][*]The [URL="https://developer.amazon.com/sdk/maps.html"]Amazon SDK[/URL] does offer maps, but is of course a fork of Android.[*]The Java ME API is available bundled with examples as part of the [URL="http://www.developer.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/d312c223-c68a-447e-b295-c3a9ebc4b630/Nokia_SDK_2.0_for_Java_offline_installer_win.html"]Nokia SDK for Java 2.0[/URL], this is a Java ME API not an Android API[/LIST]
The preferred solution for cross-platform phone development (including Android) would be to use the [URL="http://developer.here.net/mobile_html5"]Mobile HTML5 framework[/URL] - the documentation includes a series of samples, and is compatible with Phone Gap for example.
you are aware there are no Nokia devices running Android right ? Ans android itself does not come with Nokia HERE, let alone it's API's...
Android has api's for Google Maps though...

Yes, Android doesn't come with Nokia HERE. But I guess what the poster was trying to ask is how can he use HERE maps on Android (which is possible, as said above).
