Cell Phone Terminals

Hi,

Does anyone know cell phone terminals available in the market?

I am going to develop an SMS application program in my PC, and it needs a cell phone terminal to send/receive the SMS message through it. The cell phone terminal should be able to communicate with the PC. Furthermore, my program is going to specify a certain port for the SMS messages.

Wavecom makes a GSM modem that can be used for this purpose. It takes a SIM card and has a serial port to connect to a PC or server. You can communicate with it using standard modem AT commands.

Sending SMS messages with it is easy to do but they are not fast.
