I don't think that it is possible to take "screenshot" of something that is currently not on the screen...
scap, or screen capture utiilty from Sendo can take pictures of the screen (application that runs in foreground), while the utility is in background.
Yes as I have found out there seems to be no easy way of doing it.
So that also explains the utility of Draw function i think which
gets called when the application moves from background
to foreground.
I was thinking if the application was saving some bitmap
of the screen and then just blits it to the screen when
it comes to foreground.
Anyway thanks for the replies.
Bye.

Does anyone know from where can i get the source code for a Series 60 application for taking screenshots?
Thanks in advance!
Best Regards
SCap source code should be very easy to be ported to Series 60. From my understanding, the code that take screenshot is the same between UIQ and Series 60.
If you don't have time, there is a guy who sells the source code of screenshot. Check it out at http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?productType=2&optionId=1_4_2&jid=2422F4CAAAX2D5733BCAC71X32C7E38E&platformId=4&siteId=1&productId=95587§ionId=0&catalog=20&txtSearch=screenshot&pc=list%5B11%5D_title
