Splash Screen

hello everyone,
Can i put a spash screen [start up image while application loads in]
in symbian.
is there any api available directly .. to set up a splash screen ..

There is no "splash screen api", but all you need is a control (for loading and displaying a bitmap) and a timer for achieving that functionality.
