Carbide.ui S60 Theme Edition 3.1

hi all,

as already mentioned in existing threads Nokia has just released new tool for authoring content for S60 platform - all based on Eclipse platform :D
Kudos to dev-team :)

Quick test proved me that it works far more stable/faster then previous (but bear with me - I've only played with Nokia content tools not doing anything for money - so my feedback could be not so "strict" as you would expect),
however at least we can tweak some aspects of running that too, for example change vm runtime switches and it DOES works compared to older tool - I've manged to tweak memory usage to meet my system ram without any issue having some Eclipse IDE experience ;),

one missing feature - as it is standalone tool bulid on Eclipse: no custom add-ons to Eclipse can be added in that release - so for example we cannot use a tools like memory release plugin, etc, but hope that will be added at some point in future,

tool is self-contained - one can download it even on machine that does not have jre installed - so not tech-savvy Photoshop/Illustrator guy can use it also out-of-the-box just after installer finishes ;)

windows xp sp2 french-arabic
p4 2.6 GHz
2 Go DDRAM 400 MHz
nvidia gforce fx 5200 with 256Mo
ecran 19"

but its very slow way its problem of hardware or software
and also TS v1.2.1 its very slow and TS v3.0 its fast very fast i use the ver. 3.0 for make theme to my n70 and 3250

Good idea!
I've tried it, pasted Eclipse Memory Monitor plugin to Carbide.ui Eclipse folder and it and it works perfectly. From what I've seen here:

complete Eclipse SDK 3.2, GEF, VE, EMF are unchanged inside the installed folder.
If You discover other useful tricks and plugins, please, post.

sorry the problem its my PC i re-formated + install frech xp sp2 and this v3.1 its very very very very fast

ok new i finiched my 1° theme for my N-70

INFO ALL PART OF THIS THEME ARE in SVG format

1 - tabs and volume bar color don't change , its blue by default
2 - bakground in bpinboard don't change , its blue by default "not change in GRID MODE only" but chnged to my background in list mode.
3 - icons for ( radio + camera + movie + realplayer +image.print+music+transfer+media key) don't change , its by default

V3.1 fixed the problem I was having masking clock hands in version 3.0.
