Sis of sis file

Hi,

I have question related to the sis, which consists other sis files. Maybe it was already discussed or someone test it:

1/ I have verified & signed application
2/ I have "custom" sis file package - it contains some graphics and some configuration files. This sis file is self-signed
3/ I want to make the one big sis file with both sis files - signed application and self-signed "custom" package. How it will be with signing this sis file? I expect that self-signing should be O.K?

Self signing will be ok, you will obviously have to embed the symbian signed sis file inside of the untrusted sis file.

The user will also get a warning when installing as it is untrusted.

Also: Remember in E series devices, "install signed apps only" is the default setting, so you will get a "Certificate error" when trying to install

thanks for answer - the warning displayed when installing is our problem. We have application and then we "customize" it for different customers - not only configuration files, but also graphics, texts sometimes, logos, etc. The configuration can be somehow downloaded&set via oonfiguration SMS or other OTA solutions, but custom graphics is problem for us. Is there any way how to solve it??

Is it an option to download customized gfx after getting the configuration?
