In my 10 years of owning Nokia Smartphones I saw something yesterday I've never seen before: a TV commercial for a Nokia smartphone. Not only a commercial, but a well-done commercial, aired in a...
If you're looking to develop Qt mobile apps, as part of your decision process you may want to read the Qt developer boards and Ovi publisher board concerning the current state of deploying Qt apps...
I don't think anyone is upset, or that any of us would call you a troll or fanboy. I think we just have different perspectives on mobile development.
Is this a tell? O.o? In the USA, I think regulatory agencies (FTC) are only involved if equity is involved. I.e. if Microsoft is getting part of Nokia (or vice versa) in the deal, or there is a...
A different way of doing things would be fine if it also supported the industry standards. If I can create 3D transitions and smooth scrolling using OpenGL and C++, and the same OpenGL and C++ code...
Legacy use is a small subset of code reuse. It's more about standards and cost for new software.
Let's say I create a brand-new networked game using POSIX, OpenGL-ES, zlib, and libc and glue them...

lol :D :D :D ( Until I googled it, I thought you were making a joke about the recent announcement.)
Cool blog. Thanks for the info/links.
"Made in Finland" is actually a brand of Nokia clones, like "Nokla" and "Nckia". :p ( I assume they chose it as a creative solution to get around source country labeling laws. )

Also, I was wrong about different ads based on device. It does look like selecting a V3, V5, or ^3 device does change the rotation. If I set the device to N95 I get the...

Looks like it not just us whiny Symbian developers who don't like C# because we all hate change and hate Microsoft :p

A specific compression method's efficiency can vary based on the type of data. What type of data is it, and does the compression need to be lossless?
