Looks like all 3rd party apps, requiring your service, need to include your SIS as embedded sis to be installed by themselves?
If I have understood installation system correctly, all 3rd party...
Hmph,
Was looking for something else and found this... so all my beautiful PyS60 apps are now officially and totally installable as SIS packages? So how would I release (pys60 or pySide)...

Excellent service, thanx!
Ok,
Sent email... but from that blacklisted email address.
Wonder, if they will receive and/or read it :)
Thanx,

Hi,
I thought I had an old Symbian Signed account, but "forgot password" told that's not the case. So tried to create a new account and everything went fine - until I was told that my (gmail)...

Yep, it's (very) slowly coming back. I recall we were preparing for this move, when I was still Nokia subcon in Budapest :)

Installed Symbian^3 anmd Belle SDKs, missing epoc32/include/http folder. Any idea what needs to be installed to get that? Some google searches seem to suggest to install Qt SDK?

Ok,
That's clear now. So I'll packup everything into single app... Hmph, do I need to change the python runtime name to avoid conflicts? Well, I'll experiment and find out :)
Thanx,

Interesting...
I have a few PyS60 apps, which I would like to release on Ovi Store. Thanx for the excellent guidelines, but there's still one question: should I (must I, can I, do I want to)...

As far as I recall, all python apps have an icon: either defined by developer or the default python icon. Can't help there.
Why don't you install your python app as a script? It would be just a...
Met some python people during Nokia World and afterwards at Meego Networking Helsinki meetup. Seems like there is still lots of interest to have/use python inside Nokia devices, but that PyS60 has...
Greetings,
Found two issues, which I would report as defects, if I could find a proper place for these:
1) When you launch PyS60 application, someone requires a network connection. If network...
Disable sound driver FIRST and try launching emu AFTER that. Very common problem.
Btw checking epoc.wind.out doesn't help much, check Windows system log in this kind of cases.

Personally I'm waiting for PySide (python bindings for Qt) + QML (for quick UI development) to be released for Mac OSX. That combination should be something special and - most importantly - it's...
Ok, re-downloaded same files from Symbian Foundation! This time I will install on C-drive, just in case. Will report how it goes :)
Hmph, lost my reply somehow... Anyway, would like to ask a clarifying question: where should I download SIS files: Maemo Garage or Symbian Foundation? Checked both, can't really see difference, but...

Installed everything on memory card,...

Interesting, did you ever find out the answer? I would guess the values are acceleration snapshots (unless you use some predefined filter) and thus NOT coordinates. You would have to calculate those...
