I don't know muh about I/O of J2ME, but NetBeans 6.0 has a "PDA demo" application in Mobility examples. It may help you to find an easy way, maybe.

I want to get SMSes on my Java Micro Edition program to process them. I have tried four different SMS Listener MIDlets which I found from four different sources. Three of them work fine on WTK2.5...
