take a full permission control on Carbide folder located at "Program Files/Nokia" folder.
To do so
Right Click on "Carbide" folder ->Properties
goto "Security" tab Click on "Edit" button

it is nearly to impossible to do themes with siscontents.
forgot the deleted project & start with new project on carbide, its only best choice for you.

there is a plugin conflict. I mean E6 plugin is getting ignored by other plugin.
try deleting plugin those you installed & restart carbide. ;)
@bbnaco there is a plugin conflict. use only plugin you use to design theme & delete rest plugins.
if you are taking about the Calender widget's background then it is currently impossible to customize it but if you are talking about the main Calender app's background then I confirm it is...
use TPI in Carbide.ui for the same. ;)

i believe it is not possible to change icons for third party apps on S40.
if you are using belle os & want to skin digital clock widget then it is impossible. means it will not change.
and if you are using anna then you can change it by editing digital clock elements...

which plugin are you using? and for what handset are you building theme?
you must not make it transparent instead make background of waitbar similar to popup window.
please use Carbide.ui Series 40 Theme Studio for making themes for Nokia C2 or any S40 handsets.

delete older keypairs & recreate them again. the default location of keypairs in Windows7 is user profile. ;)
not possible to skin in current version of Nokia Belle but may be in future version will be available for modification not sure though. ;)
may be future version of Belle FW will fix it.
digital clock widget, analog clock widget, battery icon, signal icon, some toolbar icons cannot be skinned in current belle plugin. you need to wait for next update. lets see if carbideuui developers...
currently above elements are not available for skinning.

if you are developing themes for s60 then use this plugin by grangex. this plugin has more features as well as elements than current default pluings.
