Nokia tries to comply with the conformance specifications. If these "devices" are also in compliance, than the tools should be useful to you as well.

You need to be running JRE 1.4.1_02 not the beta release of the JRE (i.e. 1.4.1_b21)
You can see what version is installed by getting a command prompt and typing
"java -version"...
