Ok, thanks - I saw that thread earlier, but was unsure if it applies to the N8. Makes sense that it would be the same problem, though.
...but this really sucks, actually - it seems the only thing...

This is a shot in the dark, but have you by any chance obfuscated/minified your code?
I tried to that at one point, and it worked perfectly on my 5800, but not on the n97. Took me a while to...
Hi,
Apparently one of my users is ending up in a part of my code that I've never actually managed to get to myself, and to get there the regular (typeof device != "undefined") must be false.

Nagging about this once more...
I now changed my application to open the external browser for updates, but this is really not very nice - the user experience is significantly worse, I doubt all...
I got the opportunity to test briefly with an N8 today, and it behaves the same way: badly.
During a few test updates, I got both failures and the odd success. Failures resulted in multiple...
So I did some testing with a minimal widget that works as follows:

...I guess I'll have to install two Aptanas and uninstall WRT in one for now :-\
Hi,
I have not tried your example, but I'm having a similar problem with reading a header from the XHR in the 'regular' browser.
My guess is that the browser, and hence the runtime, has limited...
Same here - I have not been able to find a size that's not badly scaled :(
Any tips welcome!
...though I suspect it's a problem with the runtime - all WRT apps I've tried have the same problem. ...
Yeah, this annoys me to!
And while we're talking about improving the preview, here is one more issue to think about: the Nokia 5800 has a 640x360 display, which means I have to hide the console...
Hi,
A bit late, I know, but here are my thoughts:
I'd much prefer alternative 1. This way, you get a much better feel for how it will actually look, and perhaps realize other useful things...
