User Contacts and Profile

Hi All,
Thanks for response for my earlier queries.

Now can some help me out, how to access (read and write) User Contacts and Profile programmetcally, to modify or update status and ring tones dynamically using external application (to be developed using Symbian SDK)?

What are the Symbain APIs available for the above?

Profiles are usually not accessible, but contact you could easily read & modify. For example by using CContactDatabase API.
